One of the biggest reasons in my area for not getting the signature on the building permit is the Low Voltage contractors. They either neglect the permit process or do not install their wiring to code ie voice/ data cables laying on the drop ceiling. It always seems to fall on the EC because we are usually the one that meets with the inspector.

I can not think of any meter socket 200 amps any under that did not have a rear KO.

It seems that meter sockets are made to power company specs and that sticker could well be a result of a power company specification in that area.

Maybe you've got your pictures mixed up? That's a 250.20(B) violation, not 312.6(A). The factory holes were used, from the looks of it.

Is that a common requirement on Milbank Meter Sockets? I don't recall seeing it before, but I think I always used the factory knockouts anyway.

Edit to add: Why are we using such big print? :D
