im curious if different parts of the country have local codes about landscapers/pool guys and whoever wants being allowed to install low voltage lights
Connecticut requires licenses, permits.
http://www.ct.gov/dcp/lib/dcp/pdf/factsheets/2010_lighting.pdf
Under Connecticut law, the only lighting that can
be installed without a license are:
? pre-wired and pre-fabricated factory enclosed
transformers without any terminations or
splices, that can be plugged into an outdoor
electrical outlet previously installed by a
licensed electrician;
I wonder what this means from the pdf:
Very interesting being from CT. This law certainly is largely ignored, but I am going to make a copy for customers when I loose those jobs to the stone guys and the landscapers.
