You never can tell what a church is going to do.
Last church I worked in, they rebuilt their kitchen entirely. Nothing much for plans, just a vague idea.
On one long countertop area, I thought I'd outsmart them and run 3 circuits (3-phase service) down the wall for c'top receps. I alternated the receps A-B-C-A-B-C... all the way across the wall. I figured this would spread the circuits evenly across the c'top.
No sooner than I had finished the job, they called to complain about breakers tripping. I beat feet over there, and sure enough, every third receptacle was being used. Coffee makers, roasters, blenders, microwave, you name it. All on the B circuit. Their logic was to plug into every third outlet so they wouldn't overload anything........
Dont you label your receptacles?

You think if I did, the Blue-Hair Club would understand it?
You are a brave soul. These guys live to critique.:smile:not too many negative comments about my work. guess i done a good job
Did they spec PVC between panels? A piece of EMT would have saved the green problem.
Tom
Looks good, hate it when the laterals get twisted up.

the job looks good, so take my input with a grain of salt.....and in the interst of informing.....you've been here long enough to know thsi crew is going to look at everything with a fine tooth comb.
i had the pvc as a scrap and figured it would be cheaper and easier to use PVC than to cut a piece with a hacksaw and file it.
Well, the EMT would eliminate the need for the extra conductor. You still need to cut the pvc ream it and then get the glue too.LOL
Tom:grin:
Either one. :wink:i can do it faster with pvc than i can with emt. a nice sharp hacksaw blade or sawzall blade cuts it pretty well
Either one.
