Steve I clearly see a harness properly tied off, and will say so in court if needed. ;)

This raceway should be properly supported, as it would be in any application.

What is the raceway feeding, if it is feeding a a light fixture doesn't 410.16(H) allow that?

As long as they have not gone from that tree to the next in an overhead span, (225.26) and if it was a cable assembly follow the rules of 300.5(D)

iwire:

You are correct, this was run as permitted by 410.16(H), but I doubt that it was Schedule 80.

The conduit terminations were to receptacles and not directly to lighting. On another tree nearby I found exposed wires at the base of the tree.

The lights used are of the decorative type and may be used only during holidays.

I don't walk downtown at night for oblivious reasons.

Sorry for going off track, but the person behind the picture was a passerby, and I didn't have his permission to use his likeness so I used mine.

Now where are the others, I can post a picture of Pierre and have some off some of the other members in the archives.

:D

I got you Joe, it is hard to actually wire something that is going to grow.

I had to put a lot of landscape lights in trees at a private school, I wish I could show you the prints.

The trees had been photographed and "morphed" into line drawings and put down on an elevation prints.

So there I am counting tree branches so I could place the lights per the prints.

Here's a shot of me inside a GE "Dash 8" Genesis series Locomotive (P40-8, made by General Electric) at the Barstow, CA. Depot. (many here will know it from ECN).

First you need to get the picture into your PC.

One way is to scan a regular photo if you have scanner.

Or you can take your pictures with a regular camera and many places that develop film will also put the photos on CD-ROM for you.

And finally you could take a picture with a digital camera (maybe a friend has one)

Once you get the image into the PC you will want to save it as a jpeg file.

Then you can open a new email message and click on insert then file attachment and now you would select the file (image) you want to send and click on it.

As always with "Windows" this is not the only way to do it.

If it sounds complicated do not feel bad, it takes a little practice to do the whole process but after a while it is easy.

The good part of this is you can adjust the size, brightness, color, sharpness etc.

Oh yeah size, if you look at Scott Thompson's picture the size is about 450 x 315 pixels a good size for these pictures and the resolution will not need to be more than 75 dpi.

Computers, making our lives easer.

Russell,
I'm sensing that you want to post your picture here. If that is the case you will have to take things one step further and have your picture "hosted" online. When you email your picture to a host they will post your picture on a file server. Then a link will need to be created here so the image can be viewed here. Once the image is hosted you can create the link with the Image button in the posting window.

Here I am, caught in the act of enjoying my favorite hobby: photographing nature. That?s the Pacific Ocean in the background, making its way past several islands to the shore of a Washington State Park. Here?s my background:
