I agree that those panels look good. I'm all for craftsmanship. Neatness is neat, to a point. Form should follow function. Why waste all that time making art work out of a panel when the phone is ringin' off the hook.

I've been around. I've made up panels on those "G" jobs where there is plenty of time/money. Times have changed. I have other jobs to get too.

If the difference in the amount of time it takes to make those panels look professional is slowing your progress, there may be other issues.
There really is not much difference of time to do it neat.

Why not 180? the panel and put the main at the bottom? It frees up a whole lot of space on the sides of the tub and saves a few feet of SEC.
