First of all I was not bitching about foreign competition. The domestic vehicles are well engineered and competitive products. Apparently you agree cause I dont see you working out of a Toyota. The reason General motors lost 27 million dollars a DAY in 2005 was not because of inferior product, it was because of high operating costs due to union benefits namely health care and pensions and a decline in SUV sales due to gas prices. I think this will be worked out, the days of making 25$ an hour to push a button unfortunately for UAW I think will becoming to a close. As far as the outsourcing goes, that is needed to stay competive with the foreign competitors, even still GM has way more jobs in the USA than say, Toyota.... look it up.
