Mike,
I'll see your brace & bit and raise you a 3/4" star drill.
I want to laugh so bad but my hand hurts just thinking about it. It is nice to know that I wasn?t the only person to experience life?s little memories.Originally posted by al hildenbrand:
I well remember a job during the first summer of my apprenticeship. It was a hot and sultry Nebraska plains day and I went with the boss on a central AC hookup. The power at this little farmstead was off, for whatever reason, so the boss gets out the 1/4" & 3/4" star drills. Little one for the anchors for a 30A fused switch (subpanel) and the other to run the line outside through the block wall. (He didn't have a brace & bit, otherwise we would have punched the rim joist.)
I thought I was smart by volunteering to stay in that cool, damp basement, but by the time I came out I was wringing wet and had a badly bruised left hand.
Dave, you got me beat! That has got to be the most loaded down Astro I have seen in my life. If there's a wirenut out of place, I can't see it! Love the ladder-rack!Originally posted by davedottcom:
Hey George, I would like to enter the "Pimp my Ride Contest"!
Aside from the inverter and tunes, how much do you have invested in shelves? My guess if you managed to assemble this masterpiece for less than $20, am I right? One day I devised myself a plan
That should be the envy of most any man
I'd sneak it out of there in a lunchbox in my hand
Now gettin' caught meant gettin' fired
But I figured I'd have it all by the time I retired
I'd have me a car worth at least a hundred grand.
I'd get it one piece at a time
And it wouldn't cost me a dime
You'll know it's me when I come through your town
I'm gonna ride around in style
I'm gonna drive everybody wild
'Cause I'll have the only one there is around.

By the way Dave and George, nice vans.
The one in my van has dry cored at least 40 - 3" and 4" holes through decks from 4" to a full 10"Originally posted by jeff43222:
This is what I use.
Only when I need to. Generally, it's hanging off a ladder (while I trim) or on the floor. See the little brown pouch up to the upper right corner of my bags? That's what I normally have on.Originally posted by peter d:
George, you don't actually wear that tool belt, do you???
