I heard him say the ground wire to the bonded bushing needed to be a #4. ?? Isn't a #6 sufficent per Table 250.122? I think he said it might be a #6 (or #8).

Depends on your service conductor size. 250.66 is your guide (from 250.102)

I would not even call a chase nipple a raceway at all, it is a fitting. Probably listed as a fitting.

So, does that make it okay for this use?
