You likely aren't in North Dakota but if you were 3 SABC are required and you must alternate circuits for counter top receptacles, no matter the size of the dwelling. 24.1-06-02-10.4

I thought a ND guy would chime in on this. The only state I know of that actually requires this.

We don't alternate but I have seen times where owners keep all their small appliances in one corner of the kitchen. Not a problem unless you use them all at the same time.

That's brilliant. The HO who purposely alternates their appliances and foils the engineers plan will still use the top every time. So alternate tops and bottoms. Ckt 1 is A-top, B-bottom, C-top, D-bottom.
