I'll put my trimmed split cut against a Roto cut any day, as far as no sharp edges is concerned, but I've never even considered taping a bushing.

I use the right size bushing, place the split opposite the metal cut, and they stay in place. Why is taping necessary?

76Nemo - You should have let that EE show you how to do it! Any "tool" in the hand of an engineer is always good for a belly laugh. It's kinda like they are holding a foreign object, they do a pretty good job with a pencil though!
