Have a subpanel that was installed in a bathroom.......... the panel itself is in a room with the toilet with a door seperating it from the rest of the bathroom. Code compliant. Correct?

I got called to supply a cover for a panel in this exact location, homeowner was selling her house, I informed her that it was in fact a violation and asked her who put the panel in the bathroom, she said no one the added the bathroom and the panel was there right next to the sink between it and the toilet. Our solution was very creative, we flipped the entire panel 180 degrees with it ending up in another room, in which it was allowed, I then got her that cover...
