I love my tools, thats how I make my living and put food on the table for my family. I also make sure I have good tools in good condition, always. Every year, I'll buy a new set of screw drivers and mayb a new pair of strippers. I dont want to have a pair of dykes for 20 years, the feeling of a new pair is awesome and should happen every 3 years or so. (for the tools ya use everyday) (not your klein ratcheting, i'm not rich)

I have to disagree with ya there, I hate new pliers, I like them good and broke in, so that they just flop open with no resistance.

I love my tools. Some are very old friends that have served me well for years, but a new tool , even if its just a screw driver, can get me exited about going to work. :)

Thats because when I buy a new pair I repackage my old pair and bring them back to the store. :D

I just throw mine in the garbage....I don't get attached to tools, especially since I have a tendency to cut through live cables with my new pliers.

man not me i get real attached to my kleins, to the point that anyone elses just feel wrong. you have to train all your tools to your hand

have you ever heard of a carpenter having to train a new hammer? its where the head wears to thier swing. as crazy as it sounds its true, you can give ten different guys the same tool and come back in a year and they will all be worn slightly different because no two people use the same tool exactally the same. call me crazy but i might not be able to see the difference but i can feel it.
