We are not talking about utility approved meter sockets, not sure what that has to do with anything being discussed. :unsure:

I am talking about the utility rules, consistency throughout the region, not just meter sockets, but the whole service. That's what "EUSERC" is all about.

Not really. My understanding is EUSERC is mostly about the equipment, mostly metering, not about standardizing other general requirements such as grounding/bonding details, other equipment, procedures, other service details etc. Also this is from Schneider:

Not all EUSERC member utilities accept all metering devices that meet EUSERC specifications. So, although a device may meet EUSERC specifications

EUSERC is only in 14 states. I would love more standardization with utilities, but I think unfortunately the statement "all utilities are different" generally holds.
