I see you making a return trip because the plumber thinks you make the big bucks. And just who puts this cord on the replacement DW that wasnt factory installed ? Is he qualified to do a cord but not romex ?

How many phone calls have you gotten to wire a replacement DW???? If you can recall One, your just kidding yourself...
How many phone calls do you get to rewire a replacement hot water heater? How about a boiler? please...

They rewire boilers... wire garbage disposals... they got it going on! They don't need a electrical license...

I guess I should add my hometown to my name also....

Thanks, actually i wish everyone would do this.Often it affects the answers. There are towns in KY that i could go to in the morning and be licensed in 15 minutes with no test.I just turned down 5 acres in KY for free. Not toatally free ,they come with relatives that need my credit line.

In my area there is a high percentage of plumbers that carry a type S license that allows them to bring a feed to and wire a boiler, water heater and such. They are also required to attend continuing education courses for the Type S license they posses to renew.

Is there a flip-side to that...Like an EC getting a type Q license that allows them to sweat a few joints on an electric HWH?
